I didn't die.....yet

I know I've been absent. It started with drinking some mold when I thought it was gatorade. Yummy. Anyways, it just excalated from there and I ended up sick and then had Mono and blah blah blah blah.

While I was gone this is what you missed......

6 Million?!?

Are you kidding me? seriously....6 million for bay pictures? I thought
Aguillara was bad with 1 mil and Richie was bad with 2 mil but at 6
million Lopez certainly tops them. Nothing like putting a price on
your kids head eh? You know how many people run get into baby
convesations and then go , "oh you wanna see a picture". But
celebrities use them as leverage for money....money they don't need.
I'd like a celeb just once to say, "I have a cute baby and want the
world to see it so here are some pictures." I understand the paying
for the personal stories but for just pictures is crazy.

Jocks vs Geeks

I have issues. No not crazy issues. Indecisive issues. In the case of
jock vs. geek....who do you pick? p

I like geeks. The are intellegent and thoughtful and love video games.
Downside: they generally hate all sports

I like jocks. They will watch sports 24-7 and obviously like playing
sports. Downside: unless its Madden video games are like a foreign
language to them.

As for me: I love video games a lot. I love intelligence. I also love
softball and pretty much any other sport.

So really...I can't win either way. Which do you think is the lesser
of teo evils?

My Ass Hurts

Why does my ass hurt you ask?

Because the company I work for for keeps fucking me in it. The newest manager we got sucked ass. He made it 6 months and quit. I got FUCKED by not getting the job even though I've been doing the job for 3 of the last 4 years I've worked there because we've had such shitty managers. I was OK when they told me that I just didn't have enough experience in hiring and talking to hte client (which I do because thats what I've had to do since our managers have sucked) because I thought that they were going to hire somebody from outside the company that had a better college education or something. BUT NO.....who do they hire? The retired military guy who is a subordinate of mine. How do you not hire a supervisor and instead go a step lower and then tell the supervisor that they aren't qualified? FUCK YOU!

Of course this isn't hte whole store. I called the general manager of my company to get an interview and I didn't even get one. She had me come in (so I had to drive 45 minutes on my day off) for her to tell me why I wasn't qualified and why I wasn't getting the job, no interview or anything. Why didn't you just tell me that over the phone fuckers. Not to float my own boat, but I am teh best qualified person that currently works at the site so WTF is she thinking. Not only that, I was told I need to be a site supervisor somewhere other than the site I'm at because the site I"m at the site supervisors don't do anything (which my current title is site supervisor). So since I supposedly don't do anything, thats what I'm doing from now on. And I feel bad because I like the guy who got the job, he's a nice person, but he is not computer literate and doesn't know how to do any of the job and I'm not going to help him. If he has any questions about what to do, my answer is going to be "I DONT KNOW" if it's a question that is above my paygrade. (I suppose I should mention I was asked to train the new person too which I laughed at. If I'm not qualified for the job, how am I qualified to train for it?) Anyways, I'm pissed beyond belief right now and I'm sure that when I read this tomorrow I'll probably decide it's incoherent and I was just babbling.

But there is no feeling in the world like showing up for what you think is a job interview for a job you've been doing and getting a big FUCK YOU!

Is It Wrong......

Is it wrong to text a 13 year old on a schol night at 00:01 to tell
them Happy Birthday?

Rain and Snow, Rain and Snow

It's shitty as hell around here. It rained for 12 hours and now it's suppose to snow for 12 hours. Seriously now, how the hell is this suppose to work? I called in to work already. I live the furthest from work so I made sure somebody would cover for me after I heard they were closing roads and taking plows and sand trucks off the road. WI sucks.

FYI

To anybody who doesn't live in WI....it's mother fucking cold here. I want to win the lottery so I can live in a warmer place and just fly around and watch the Badger Hockey team play.

Oooohhhh...and I want to build a theater in a house that I design myself.....but I'll settle for living someplace warm and only coming back to see the Badgers play.

Valentines Day is stupid

Happy Valentines Day to all you lonely pathetic people like me who can't find somebody to spend the day with. I'm going to the Olive Garden with my Ma, Great Aunt Helen, Sister, and best friend Jenny. All 5 of us are single losers. (Well my Ma and Helen are widowed and my sister has Downs Syndrome so only Jenny and I are losers technically)

Happy Birthday Andy

Today is Andy's birthday. He is 9. I have to stop by the store to get
ingredients so my Ma can make him cookies for his Birthday. Last year
I got him a toy and he wasn't impressed because he doesn't really play
with toys anymore. He's too mature for toys. He prefers sleeping all
day and eating too. Mainly sleeping if he can find a good place on the
floor where the sun is shining in the window.

Snow vs. Dog

Yeah...I'm not sure where he is either. But he loves to play in the snow.

Hate and Love

I HATE
pretty much everything. Especially the snow. And the boss they won't
get rid of. And the work he doesn't do. And the work he is too stupid
to do. And the snow. And the employees that have a combined IQ of 60.
And the fact that they are calling for 16 inches of snow and they make
us drive around a Cobalt with a million things falling off of it. And
the fact that I can't seem to get a job away from this hell hole. And
that I have no health insurance. And that most of my friends suck at
being friends. And that I'm too nice. And that I'm allergic to
cinnamon.

I LOVE
Basco. Jase. Unconditional love and snuggles from Basco and Jase.

It's Been Awhile

Wow....its been a long time since I posted about my life on here. I
guess that calls for a little rewind to catch ya'll up
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
...Okay, now that you're all caught up I feel better.

Random thought:

My knee is so jacked up I'm pretty sure softball is out this year but
I'll unfortunately still try to play.

I fucking hate winter, snow,, cold, ice, and anything remotely related
to this time of year.

That said...I want to learn to snowboard. Who thinks my knee will last
through that?

I'm tired as fuck right now. Only 3 more hours of work to go so I can
go home and come back 8 hours later.

I hate having ESP...its creepy.

Yea! Schmidt isn't a ref for the rest of the year....no wonder Denver
got creamed by the Mavs, they don't have a 7th man on the ice anymore.
I'm still on shock after learning the dude is a popo. I'm glad its not
in WI. I wouldn't feel safe (and he would have already been found in a
back alley if he was a popo in WI)

Anybody know where I can find a better job?

F.......ING........SNOW

Seriously now. Every freaking time I have to drive the car around for
work it snows like a mofo or its icy or somehow shitty. And you know
what kind of car we have.....a freaking Colbalt. You can't drive over
any amount of snow in a Cobalt. And I'm sick of getting stuck
everywhere because we drive a tiny ass car.

New Years Resolution

Get a better job so I'm not so overly stressed and tired that I can't
post as often as I want. Or Santa can give me a new job. Quite
honestly I'll take ANY job.....anybody with an offer?

F.........ING............SNOW

I flippin' hate winter. And thats all I gotta say about that.

Hey LGM.....wanna learn the art of the shovel?

Weekend In Mankato

I typed this long ass mofo from my phone so I don't wanna hear about
shitty spelling and grammatical errors.

I made the all but wise trip in the winter to see everybodys favorite
bloggers, LGM and WT. I should have known better when I woke up at
the asscrack of dawn on a Friday to drive 5 hours that I was in for
it.

Just Kidding. The trip was good. I had to shovel on Friday before I
left (Something LGM would be confused about) and of course upon
returning, there was more snow.

Friday we rolled into the Kato Holiday Inn about 4 and I called up the
all favorite LGM. We met at Blue Bricks. I of course was punctual and
even had to go back to the hotel because my brilliant tagalong forgot
her ID. We still beat LGM and WT there though. So I text LGM and she
tells me to get a table for 7. (I think she paid some of these people
because I don't know anybody that has 7 friends). Needless to say I
met LGM and ALL of her friends. Then again she met all of mine and I
only took 1 with me. Anyways, I got a salad (I was on a health kick
this weekend) and it was good but then again, can you really muff up a
salad?

We ventured over to the game and I watched WI regress to playing
something similar to the little tykes that play at intermission at the
Kohl. It was terrible and I thought the refs were terrible but not
nearly as bad as the SCSU refs. The best thing about the game was the
pretzel I had and it was just OK....a little dry.

After the game we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and I had my Dirty Girl
Scout. Tastes like my favorite cookie in the whole wide world. Mmmmm.
And I had a Blue UV and Leomonade.....oh wait scratch that, BWW
doesn't carry blue UV so in LGM words I ordered an old gramma drink.
An Armaretto Sour. So about 2315, we left and they went to Blue Bricks
(I think) and we punked out and went back to the hotel because unlike
LGM, we had gotten up at the asscrack of dawn to shovel snow and
drive. Upon trying to explain this to LGM, we decided upon just saying
"We are punkinh out on you" because she was a little too drunk to
understand the words that were coming out of our mouths.

So Saturday I was lazy and only got up to play pool and video games at
the hotel arcade. Then at 5 we met LGM and WT (and company) at Chevys.
Again I had salad and I didn't think it was that great and it tasted
kinda funny. Blue Bricks was better.

So my tagalongs cousin came to the game with us because she only lives
like an hour away and we had never met her bf so perfect opportunity.
Anyways the refs sucked again even though it was to our advantage. If
the Badgers knew how to score on a power play it'd be nice. Anyways,
the game ended in a tie. Jamie McBains mommy sat right behind me and
when he scored his goal on Sat night I thought she was going to fly
through the roof she was so excited. Granted I was pretty excited too
because he was in a little slump so maybe that brought him out of it.

After the game we went to Sidelines where LGM got photo proof that I
exist and she isn't making me up. (we all should have gotten into the
sleigh for a picture). Then we went to Blue Bricks and after that to
The Wine Cafe. The salad from Chevys made me feel like poop and I had
a headache since the second period of the game but I was bound and
determined to show LGM and WT that I wasn't gonna punk out again.
Thought I was gonna yak at the wine cafe but I made it back to the
hotel and felt much better afterwards. (And no kids it wasn't the
alcohol because I only had 3 freekin'drinks)

Sunday we got up ate breakfast and drove back to good ole WI where
they know how to shovel and plow. I seriously don't think I saw a
plowed road or driveway in the entire state of MN. And their fans were
kinda rude and would not sit the fuck down. I don't mind the standing
after a goal but shit. There is really no bad seat at the rink though
when people sit because its so small.

I just wanna say thanks to LGM and WT for hangin' with us losers this
weekend. And a special thanks to WT's Mommy for letting WT miss your
birthday to meet me (I was SO worth it, I swear.)

I have better things to do but........

Once upon a time ago I actually updated a sidebar on my blog with a note of what game I was playing, what recent movies I've watched, and what book I was reading. So I decided to make a list of my favorite tv shows, favorite movies, and some of the books I've read lately trying to keep myself from going crazy at my job that is fucking retarded right now (and why I like the tv/movie). We aren't going into how much I want to go ape shit on everybody at work though. Movies and Books=happy time, right?

For fun I also added some tv shows and movies that some of my friends like that I can't believe anybody watches!!

Interesting fact: I never watched tv until I lived with my best friend for 2 years. Now I am addicted to tv and own more than 1 TiVo because I watch too many shows. This gives evidence that friends are bad which I why I only choose to have a select few.

TV Shows:
CSI: NY
I like murder mysteries which is what CSI always is. It's usually not too much of a mystery for me though.

CSI (Las Vegas)
See above for reasoning....plus I like Sarah even though she's now gone (as of last weeks show) :(

American Idol
I have no idea why I like it but I think that it has something to do with the fact that I can't sing for shit. Also because I watch the tryout part which is funny and then once I see who makes it I always end up wanting to see who wins. Is all I have to say is, thank god for TiVo so I don't have to watch all the stupid stuff in between the singing. Never would have started watching this show if I didn't have a best friend. (or any other reality tv show for that matter)

House
I love Omar Epps but I also liked it better last year when all 3 were understudies. I probably like medical mysteries as much as murder mysteries.

Prison Break
Wentworth...shitty name but fucking hot.

Big Bang Theory
I think show appeals to my inner geek. I identify with the show WAY too much. It's kinda creepy.

How I Met Your Mother
I didn't think I'd stick through the show past last year, but I can't help to wonder the outcome of who Ted actually marries. The show will probably end without anybody finding out and I will be pissed.

Desperate Housewives
The show could do without Edie for sure, but I think I stick to the show because of Lynette and Bree moreso than anything else. Probably wouldn't have started watching this show if I didn't have a best friend.

Private Practice
Who wouldn't want to watch a show with Taye Diggs are you kidding me?

Grey's Anatomy
Probably wouldn't have started watching this show if I didn't have a best friend. I'm kind of stuck on it now though because I have to know if Derek and Grey end up together and blah blah blah. For reference, I don't think McSteamy is very hot.

Women's Murder Club
I love Angie Harmon to begin with but beyond that I love James Patterson books which is what this show is based off of. It's like a CSI/law and order type show with women calling the shots so it's much better of course.

Real World/Road Rules Challenge
I use to watch RW but never watched RR. I think I like the challenge though because it's like any other competion type reality show. And until I don't know the dude from RW anymore it will be good. (This season is the first RW I haven't seen in awhile). Again brought on by having a best friend.

Carpoolers
I have a think for Jerry Oconnell. I use to watch My Secret Identity as a kid (though nobody I know has ever heard of it) and between that and Stand By Me I've always liked him. The show is pretty funny but I think will probably get lame pretty soon. I've only seem 2 or 3 episodes so far.

Shows I can't believe my friends watch:
Dancing with the Stars
Ghost Hunters/TAPS or any of those "haunted" shows
Days of Our Lives
Passions
Any other daytime tv crap like that
Beauty and the Geek
Bachelor
Xfiles

Movies:
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
I love Angelina Jolie. If I was Brad Pitt I would have done the same thing. Granted there wasn't much of a choice for her taking a step up when your last marriage was to Billy Bob Thornton.

The Rock
I will watch any movie about Alcatraz. I will also watch every movie with Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage in it.

Any James Bond movie
Sean Connery was the best bond. One thing I don't like about any of them is that they are all hairy and I don't like the hairy thing much. I like Bond so much that I hate Austin Powers because it mocks my Bond.

Lord of the Rings
I hate Elijah Wood. ALOT. I actually didn't watch these for a long time because I hate him so much but after watching them, they rock. Provided you have no life for the 3 hours each of them take.

Star Wars
I don't even know what I love them, but I do. My favorite character is Jar Jar Binks. My friends dog moans and sounds like chewbacca somtimes. Thats interesting.

Back to the Future
Michael J. Fox is just awesome. I don't think there was a movie with him I didn't like. Everybody in those movies did a great job of acting.

The Usual Suspects
If you haven't seen this movie you should. Some people think it's boring but once the end hits it's crazy. Good good movie. See it.

Movies I can't believe some of my friends like:
The Wedding Singer
Harry Potter
American Pie (all of them)
Nacho Libre
Napoleon Dynamite

Books:
Any James Patterson book will do, but I've recently read Double Cross and I'm really excited for another one to come out (in Feb. just in time for my birthday).

I also read Karin Slaughter who writes similar to Patterson. If you like murder mysteries I suggest you try out both of these authors.
PS....if you're going to read Karin Slaughter make sure you aren't visiting around Atlanta at the time because reading a murder mystery about a city you're currently visiting is a little creepy.

Just Practicing

Just checking to see if this new thingy works so I can actually blog
from work.....
