I may not post a whole lot for awhile and if I do it will probably be filled with a lot of profanity because I mother fucking god damn torn my MCL slipping on a mother fucking hill.

I feel a little better now.

What's a MCL? I've heard of an ACL tear...which is horribly painful and requires surgery. I hope it's not like that.

On the positive side, you could post random things on here while all hopped up on pain meds:)

ACL is in the middle of your knee, MCL is on the inside of your knee. They are fixed the same way and although I have never hurt my ACL, I"m going to say that if it is any more painful than the MCL that people would die from it. I take pain extremely well but about 8 hours after I hurt it, I was in so much pain I was screaming and bawling...and I don't cry in front of people...EVER.

So me and my no health insurance went to Urgent Care and on Monday are going to the orthopedic person and having a $2500.00 MRI done. I want to go back to high school and have my mom's health insurance again. I almost felt completely better when they told me how much it cost. That was of course right after I threw up at the price. God I love America and the health care they provide.

Ouch, that sucks, hopefully you get well soon. I had a MRI one time and those things suck, I had to lay still for 45 minutes. Talk about getting closterfobic.

NIN!! What the hell? You did this just walking along, minding your own business ... and then you played SOFTBALL on it?? WOW! You're tough. I hope you feel better soon!

How can you not have health insurance?? Okay, I know you feel bad enough already, but NIN!!!!!! everyone needs health insurance - even just the shitty, $2000 deductible kind for just this sort of thing. Okay, that's my healthcare provider rant! I'm sorry!

I didn't really hurt much right away. I thought it was just a tweak. When I hit the ball the outfielders caught it so I didn't have to run but I did try to run the first time and it was just strange. I felt like my leg was roundhouse kicking from the knee as I was running. It was just tight and...strange. It was later when I had to walk around at work that the pain set in. I tried icing it and all sorts of stuff. It was just ungodly painful by 6am that I was bawling...and I just don't really cry unless I'm alone.

And for not having health insurance, I know it's retarded but I keep thinking I'm going to get a real job with real insurance someday. And seriously, my insurance I could have taken is SO bad that it's cheaper at places to say I don't have insuarnce because then they will give you a discount and usually the discount is more than what the insurance pays. I've tested it, I know. In fact I just dumped the insurance on June 1 because I hadn't used it the 3 1/2 years I've been there because it didn't pay for anything when I tried to use it. So piss on the healthcare system!! Or moreso my cheap ass mother fucking company. Okay I feel better.

UGH! I was nauseous reading about the roundhouse kicking comment. YUCK! I hate knees. I wouldn't have been a very good ortho nurse. Anyway, I hope it all works out okay!! :)
